Clean energy congress opens tomorrow in Calgary

The first Global Clean Energy Congress and Exhibition, a global platform to demonstrate, discuss and debate global clean energy strategies, policies and technologies, launches tomorrow in Calgary.

Participants from more than twenty countries around the world in the field of clean energy technologies and innovation will attend. The Congress will include a technical Conference, featuring international and domestic speakers. In addition, an exhibition will feature over 100 exhibiting companies displaying the latest innovations and inventions available in the industry.

Over the next three days an anticipated 3,000 attendees and 400 delegates will converge to attend keynotes, technical presentations, networking events, and view innovations and source solutions in the pavilions and exhibits. Global Clean Energy Congress 2011 will be an interactive, demonstrative showcase of present and future technologies, products and strategies being used in our communities and cities.

Among the highlights of the Global Clean Energy Congress 2011 will be Innovation Stations, reserved for start-up inventors with brand new technologies in development or prototype stage leading the way in clean energy.

An Innovation Playground will offer a hands‐on demonstration opportunity for attendees to see the latest innovations and clean energy technology in action.

A Dealmakers' Lounge will be the meeting forum for clean energy technology companies, as well as financial and business service providers to broker deals, and learn about investment opportunities.

The Conference will explore the challenges of successfully navigating industry transformation in a socially responsible, economically feasible and environmentally sound manner. Topics include Energy Efficiency & Onsite Generation, Renewables, Nuclear, Hydrogen, Cleaner Hydrocarbons, Optimized Integration, Supply & Demand, and Financing Mechanisms.

Global Clean Energy Congress 2011 runs Tuesday, November 1 from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm; Wednesday, November 2 from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm; Thursday, November 3 from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Free Exhibition passes and upgraded Conference packages can be obtained at www.globalcleanenergycongress.com.
