Bombardier's Global 7000, 8000 to be completed in Montreal

Interior of the Bombardier Global 7000: the largest cabins in business jets.

Interior completion of Bombardier's new Global 7000 and Global 8000 business jets will take place at its Global Completion Centre in Montréal. The new Global business aircraft, extensions to the line that includes the Global 5000 and Global 6000, are currently in development.

The Global 7000 will have larger cabin space than the Global 6000 and will have a range of 13,520 km. It will be capable of flying non-stop from Sydney to Dubai, London to Singapore or Beijing to Washington, with ten passengers. It is scheduled to enter service in 2016.

The Global 8000 aircraft will be capable of flying farther than any other business jet, with a range of 14,631 km. It will connect Sydney-Los Angeles, Hong Kong-New York and Mumbai-New York non-stop with eight passengers. The Global 8000 jet will reach a high-speed cruise of M 0.90. Entry-into-service is scheduled for 2017.

The Global aircraft are "truly unique" according to a Bombardier statement, and offer the industry's largest cabins, advanced avionics and office in the sky technology.
