Aveos to provide MRO service to Canadian North

Aveos, a full-service maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider of airframe, engine, component and maintenance solutions to the aviation industry, has signed two new five-year, full-service maintenance agreements with Canadian North. The agreements provide airframe, engine, component and line maintenance, as well as inventory, engineering, fleet management and records services for the carrier's B737-300 aircraft that provide passenger and cargo service to Northern communities, remote sites and destinations across Canada.
The new 737-300 aircraft entered into service in January 2011 and are powered by CFM56-3C1 engines, part of the engine offering for which Aveos has garnered a global reputation for excellence.

Canadian North provides of scheduled passenger and cargo services from Edmonton and Ottawa to points throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Extending beyond Northern Canada as well, they offer non-scheduled charter flights for industrial clients, sports teams, and large groups.
