Aveos wins engine contract with Saudi MRO company

Aveos has signed a one-year Engine Technical Service Agreement with Saudi Arabian MRO, Alsalam Aircraft Company. Under the agreement, Aveos is to repair, overhaul and deliver up to eight JT9D-7A engine events within 2011. Aveos is a full-service maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider of airframe, engine, component and maintenance solutions to the aviation industry. 

Aveos has more than 30 years of experience in the repair and overhaul of the Pratt and Whitney JT9D-7A through 7J as well as the JT9D-7R4D and 7R4E engines. "We have a strong relationship with Alsalam and our highest quality standards and customer-first approach distinguish us from our competitors," declared Jim Andrews, Vice President and General Manager, Engine Solutions at Aveos. "This win is a testament to our versatility and range of capabilities. Our valued JT9D and of course, CFM and CF34 clients, receive the focused individual attention Aveos is known for," he added.

This agreement is in line with the company's focus to develop long term relationships with all major industry participants, including airlines, MROs, manufacturers and lessors. As such, Aveos is diversifying its geographical reach while maintaining its customer promise to "Always deliver Quality, On-Time Service at a Competitive Price".
